Questions worth asking before you build.

Plain answers from the people who build the projects. Our articles will go deeper on each one.

  • 01When should we bring in a builder? As early as you can. The decisions made before the design is finished shape cost and schedule more than anything that happens later. See preconstruction services.
  • 02How do we plan the budget for an amenity center?Treat the clubhouse, pool deck, courts and site work as one project with one schedule. Pricing them together shows the trade-offs while you can still change the plans. See amenity centers.
  • 03Can a property stay open during a renovation?Often yes, when the work is planned around the people who use the property. The plan decides which areas close, when and for how long. See renovations.
  • 04What should we ask a contractor before hiring?Ask for the Florida license number, who will run your project day to day, how changes are priced and approved, and how often you will hear from them.
  • 05What do you need from us to request a quote? The type of project, where it is, what stage the design is in and when you would like to start. Anything else you know helps. Request a quote.
